The vitamin deficiency, or avitaminosis, is characterized by the lack or failure in absorption, it can become a serious health problem. In developed countries, it is rare to note avitaminoses, due to their relatively balanced diet. Besides, the lack of vitamins is easily solved by taking vitamin supplements. The lack of vitamin A, related to vision, the so-called “night blindness” or even, in extreme cases, total blindness in children.

The lack of vitamin B1 in your body, being responsible for the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats, it can cause loss of appetite, muscle fatigue or beriberi.
