You can only visit this island between May and September, during other months, waves are too strong to leave a navigable state for the ferry, but those who were there said that the journey is incredible. Almost uninhabited – only the lighthouse keeper lives there – this island is nature at its purest and wildest state. But if you think you cannot spend some days there, cheer up: you may camp or stay in the fort overnight.

Aljezur

Right in the beauty of the Algarve coast, next to Atlantic, lies a village that shelters the whole concept of sun, beach and surf lovers.
