Yoga: it may be your salvation

It’s time to forget – if only for a moment – the stress of everyday life. Now, relax and take some notes.

Tired from a long day at work and all you can think of is the comfort of home? We have a suggestion: before that, do yoga. With a teacher or at your place, it will make you feel better. For sure!

The term yoga comes from the Sanskrit “yuj” which means to join or gather as who prepares the tools to perform a particular task. This gathering can be seen as a metaphor for the concentration, physical and mental, as it allows you to regain energy and return to face the bustles of life.

To start doing yoga, you only need comfortable clothing, a carpet and silence (or, if you prefer, chill out music, to relax). Then do some of the positions suggested by the teacher, or videos you find online: there is a whole ocean of tutorials that can teach how to yoga. These positions provide internal massage that, despite the effort, will ensure you the release of tensions and bring you a quietness that otherwise you would never reach.

After each exercise, memorize or draw the positions you liked or those that gave you greater physical and mental satisfaction. You can repeat them before bedtime. Also do some research on the internet, you may find new ideas that will encourage you and make you want to practice, even, more yoga. Always set goals: remember that the more disciplined the practice of these exercises, the more relaxed you’ll be and it will get easier to keep pace and flexibility. Practice one, two or three times a week. Start slowly, but keep up the rhythm.

There are numerous benefits from the practice of yoga. Among many others, it is known that this philosophy increases physical flexibility, muscle strength and also improves posture. On the other hand, it prevents wear down of cartilages and joints. Furthermore, it enhances circulation, avoiding the risk of heart disease, while it favors cerebral perfusion, increasing focus abilities. As you see, there is no reason not to surrender to yoga.
