Stop using excuses that you don’t have time to go to the gym or money to buy fitness material to have at home. You have all the basic tools you need for workouts at hand. Look.

It is true that you get in shape by having a small gym at home, only with basic instruments. Rubber bands, dumbbells, ankle weights or fitballs are easy to keep and accessible. They offer you the chance to do physical exercise without having to move or spend money on gym registration. But why not save even more and get more free space by leveraging the various household items that you certainly have at home and that can be great support to help you keep fit.

You never remembered to use a broom or water bottles to perform exercises. Save some of the ideas that you might never have had.

Stairs

We all know that you go up and down stairs is a great form of exercise. If you have a house with stairs, indoors or outdoors, use them as replacement to the step. You can find several tutorials on the internet about what exercises you can do on the stairs beyond the basics of go up and down.

Bench’s or chairs

Amazingly these objects offer the possibility of a variety of muscle groups. They can serve to do pushups, steps, train triceps or for training jumps.

Bottles of water

Save the old water bottles, fill them and use as … dumbbells. You can use the material that you want to fill them: sand, water or heavier materials. Thus you control what your weight is.
