We all know that the pace of life is increasingly accelerated. Our diet only loses with it. Here are the foods able to detoxify us.

In Western societies, there is less and less time to think about and take care of ourselves. This lack of time seriously harms our diet, that should be the essential source of our well-being. For being quick to cook, the excessive consumption of processed foods increases day-by-day. This fact, combined with a low consumption of vegetables, legumes, fruits or wholegrain flours, makes this type of food harmful to health and that can have disturbing effects. These are plenty of reasons to make you stop every once in a while and opt for a diet that helps to re-balance the body; and there are many foods that can help us in this process of elimination of excesses and the accumulated toxins, that is, to detoxify our system. Here are some examples.

Garlic – the benefits of garlic are well known, this plant is rich in vitamins, minerals and amino acids, it reduces blood pressure, has anticoagulants properties, strengthens the immune system and reduces the risk of heart disease. But only if consumed raw, on an empty stomach, its detoxifying and toning action stimulates the elimination of toxins.
