Foods that you should eat daily

The best way to take care of our body is from the inside out, thus we guarantee physical and mental health. There are foods that contain important nutrients that should be consumed daily.

There are extremely rich foods in essential nutrients that should be part of our daily diet. Consumed in the right amount, these are great allies in maintaining our health.

Green leafy vegetables, especially with dark green foliage, are fundamental in our daily diet. Broccoli, spinach, watercress or cabbage are some examples of these vegetables. Spinach is high in iron, phosphorus, calcium and other vitamins that help, for example, to increase immunity. Broccoli are one of the foods that reduces insulin and blood sugar as they are rich in fiber, and prevent heart disease by the fact that they contain lutein, folate and vitamin B6. Watercress, rich in vitamin B, helps relieve stress and tension, at the same time that also benefits the skin, nails and hair by the amount of vitamin K in them. Containing all these vitamins and nutrients, cabbages have a high anti-inflammatory action and the mineral magnesium.

We should at least consume a citrus fruit a day: oranges, lemons, tangerines, among others are rich in vitamin C, important for the production of collagen and strengthen of the immune system.

The major sources of protein such as meat, fish or eggs, should also be part of our daily diet in recommended amounts. Lean meats should be favored as they contain less fat and should be consumed preferably roasted or grilled. Fish, beyond the protein, is also a source of vitamin B12, iron, calcium and Omega-3.

Daily consumption of carrots is extremely beneficial for levels of beta-carotene, who turns into vitamin A in the body. In addition, carrots are composed of large amounts of water.

Two cups a day, or a glass of juice, with a mixture of various red fruits are the recommended dietary intake of these fruits, in order to benefit from their anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties.
